Chiye R. Wenkam
Born in Honolulu, Hawaii, Ms. Wenkam received a B.A. from the University of Hawaii in 1972, a M.S. from Oregon State University in 1977, and a J.D. from the University of Denver in 1984. She was admitted to the Colorado Bar in 1984 (currently inactive), the California Bar in 1985, and the Hawaii Bar in 1986. Ms. Wenkam practices in the areas of estate planning, elder law, and governance and transactional matters for profit and not-for-profit corporations.

Jan M. Tamura
Born in Wailuku, Maui.  Ms. Tamura received her B.A. with high honors from the University of Hawaii in 1977, M.S.W. from the University of Michigan in 1978, and J.D. from the William S. Richardson School of Law in 1985 where she was a member of the Moot Court Team.  She was admitted to the Hawaii Bar in 1985.  Ms. Tamura's civil litigation practice focuses on the areas of personal injury, including products liability, as well as the defense of medical, nursing and other health care professionals in malpractice claims.  She also represents clients in select family law matters.  Ms. Tamura has twice been the recipient of the Young Lawyers Division of the Hawaii State Bar Association's Justice Award.  She is an active community volunteer and has been a member, director, and officer on numerous boards and committees.

Mei Nakamoto
Born in Honolulu, Hawaii, Ms. Nakamoto received her B.S. with distinction and B.Ed. with distinction from the University of Hawaii at Manoa in 1980. In 1984, Ms. Nakamoto received her J.D. from Northwestern University School of Law in Chicago, Illinois in 1984, where she was a member of the National Moot Court Team. She was admitted to the California bar in 1985 and the Hawaii bar in 1986, and practiced business litigation (including insurance defense) in California until 1989. In 1989, Ms. Nakamoto returned to Hawaii and practiced business litigation until 1998, when she began focusing her practice in the area of family law. Ms. Nakamoto continues to represent clients with family law issues and actively volunteers with the family law bar and State Judiciary's committee work. She also volunteers through her membership with the Rotary Club of Honolulu Sunrise (where she was the president from 2005-2006) and various other community-based organizations.
